X-Men: Days of Future Past and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes are two of this summer’s biggest blockbusters and Redberry Digital are excited to have worked with 20th Century Fox on Live Wallpapers for both of these releases.
These powerful digital marketing assets allow movie fans to effectively skin their Android device with stunning imagery and animations, created by Redberry’s designers, from the films’ official artwork.
Built into the app are links to Fox’s official booking apps, trailers and the ability to send push notifications to users who have installed the app at key moments in the pre-release marketing campaign.
The ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ live wallpaper features three designs based on the film’s one sheet poster, these include all of the main cast, embers rising from a city inferno and an X-jet and Sentinels flying past in the background.
The ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ design was based on character posters, brought to life with rain and lightning – you can see more in the video below:
Since their release, these live wallpapers have been downloaded around 400,000 times with push notifications delivered through them achieving click-through rates of up to 15%.
