Grosvenor House is a luxury 5-star hotel in central London which is part of the JW Marriott hotel group. Since opening in 1929, it has been frequented by royalty, celebrities and business leaders. Marriott were seeking a modern solution for providing information, services and carefully curated content to all of their guests.

The Brief

What the problem was

Marriott were seeking a mobile app to assist and engage guests at the Grosvenor House, JW Marriott hotel. It needed to work across iOS and Android devices, be easy to update regularly with promotions and features and provide an exclusive area that can be branded to support corporate client events.

The Solution

What we did

Redberry delivered a custom designed app to reflect the high quality standards of the Grosvenor House hotel.

A dynamic home screen was used to surface the content most important to the user and provide one tap access to essential hotel information and contacts.

The Concierge section incorporates a selection of carefully curated content from the hotel’s head concierge, including things to do, seasonal events and regular promotions.

A password protected area is included within the app to provide support for corporate events at the hotel – this allows access to agenda, documents, downloads and event information such as floor plans.

In addition to supporting and engaging guests during their stay, the concierge app includes access to online reservations and a ‘click-to-call’ function for returning guests.
